Jelena
“If you really love something, it becomes an inseparable and very importan part of your life – Middle Eastern dance is a part of my life and I aim to express my love for this dance style by dancing, by sharing my emotions with other people. Dancing is pure joy – that must be shared!”
Jelena is an professional oriental dancer and dance instructor. Ever since she was a child, she has been practising many different forms of dancing. As a teenager, she was more involved in freestyle and show dance. Jelena could also practice her coaching skills by running a children’s show dance group.
She entered the world of oriental dance in 2006. She has been hooked to oriental dance ever since her very first exposure to it.
From 2010 to 2011, she attended intensive courses on oriental dance in the “InesDance” dance studio and was granted a certificate. The course included lectures and dance lessons on Egyptian folkloristic, classical and modern dance.
She has performed at many public festivals, concerts and club events as well as closed events, such as private and company parties.
At present, she is giving oriental dance lessons in Tallinn, the island of Saaremaa and is also open to giving private lessons.
